About Living Naturally
Living Naturally are an inspiring family run business based in the UK, where they hand make all their skincare products using ethically sourced, sustainable and eco-friendly materials. Realising that a lot of skincare products contained harmful chemicals Living Naturally decided it was time to make a change and come up with better, healthier alternatives which is how they found out about soap nuts. They now use this amazing natural soap nuts to hand make award winning skincare.
Sourcing their soap nuts from rural parts of India, Living Naturally believe strongly in ethical practices. They employ locals to collect, sort and dry the soap nuts, helping to provide extra work and support to families that live in communities nearby the forests where the soap nuts grow. The locals learn new skills and a trade while earning, this gives them valuable work experience while able to provide for their families. The dried soap nuts are then ship freighted in large quantities to save on carbon footprint.
This company is extremely passionate about providing USDA certified organic and natural skincare that doesn’t cost the earth or our health. Living Naturally meticulously only source their ingredients from ethical suppliers who do not harm animals, people or the planet, ensuring all of their products are 100% certified vegan and cruelty free. Mostly the ingredients used are locally sourced in the UK but when they do import they only use fair trade suppliers and co-operatives.
I truly admire Living Naturally as they go to such lengths to produce such eco-friendly products, even their workshop is run using 100% renewable energy! At Peace With The Wild we stock soap nut skincare and laundry products which I absolutely love using myself, they are kind to your skin especially with skin conditions such as eczema.
100% natural biodegradable ingredients is what makes these products so great!
Even when some brands claim to make ‘natural’ skincare products most of the time they either still contain man made chemicals and toxins or they are in plastic packaging that leaches these chemicals into the contents. And of course once we are done with the packaging, it will always eventually find it’s way to the environment leaking chemicals into the soil or sea!
Going plastic free I thought I would have to give up most cosmetics and skincare but now I realise there are companies who are conscious of the environment and our health, producing products with zero chemicals in them and in eco-friendly plastic free packaging!
It’s also very important to me that all the products we have at Peace With The Wild are cruelty free and not tested on animals, so be assured all the products you buy with us have not been tested on animals at any point.
All the skincare products I have at Peace With The Wild are made from 100% natural ingredients and their packaging is not made from plastic, instead it is either made from glass, paper or aluminium. These containers offer no threat to us or the environment as well as being sustainable non-leaching materials. Gone are the days of struggling to find truly natural skincare and cosmetics without plastic!
