Make washing up more sustainable with Iron & Velvet Washing Up Liquid Refill Sachets. This innovative refill system gives you all the cleaning power of a traditional washing-up liquid, without the need to buy another single-use plastic bottle.

Each pack contains 5 water-soluble refill sachets, which combine with water to create a full 500ml bottle of washing-up liquid. Simply add the sachets to a reusable bottle, fill with warm water, shake, and allow the formula to dissolve before using as normal.

Packaging

The water-soluble sachets are made from Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA). Which has been approved for use in pharmaceuticals, meaning a much safer alternative to plastic. The PVA polymer that Iron & Velvet use is fully water soluble so no physical risk to animals, it's completely non-toxic to the environment, aquatic life or animals and does not form micro-beads so again does not fit within the common usage of the term plastic.

The paper and cardboard packaging comes from Sustainably certified sources meaning this is also sustainably sourced.

How to use:

1. Just simply drop all 5 sachets in a 500ml bottle you already have
2. Fill with hot tap water – the hotter the better
3. Shake vigorously while hot until everything has dissolved

The product will thicken as it cools so for best results leave for a few hours and shake again before use. Then use it like a normal washing up liquid – squirt into your bowl with running water and get washing.
