The bristles and the handle are made from renewable materials. The handle is home compostable, please remove the bristles before composting. The bristles are made of 100% renewable castor oil but will not fully biodegrade in compost. The bristles and the head can however can be recycled with TerraCycle when posted to EcoLiving.
