Beauty Kitchen Lip Balm Inventor Kit key ingredients have some amazing beauty benefits for your lips. They are:
Beeswax - Beauty kitchen's excellent quality beeswax is from Europe, only the best is good enough for your lips! Beeswax gives your lip balm a thick consistency and hydrates your lips, while forming a protective barrier from the external environment such as cold weather.
Cocoa Butter - A 100% natural fat that comes from cocoa beans which gives a creamy, luxurious softness to your lip balm. Cocoa butter is also packed full of antioxidants that support lip health and will nourish, moisturise and help soothe dry or chapped lips.
Sunflower / Olive Oil - Olive oil is great for dry skin but when making your lip balms use any natural oil you may have in your kitchen cupboard. Natural oils also give a great gloss to the lips, so they shine and look glossy, soft!

How To Use
1. Pour 25ml (around 4 tablespoons) of oil into a small pan
2. Add the beeswax.
3. Add the cocoa butter.
4. Put the pan on a very low heat, melt and stir. Don’t let it boil or simmer. PS: Be extra careful here with the hot oil.
Â
Inventor Tip: If you want to create your own flavour, add a few drops of oil-based food flavouring at this stage.
Â
5. When the ingredients have melted, take the pan off the heat.
Â
Inventor Tip: If you prefer a colour lip balm you can add the colour of your choice (quantity depends on how deep you want the colour) and stir well.
6. While it’s warm, carefully pour the mixture into the balm tins, just below the top of the rim.
7. Leave for 15 minutes to set or pop in the fridge for quick setting.
8. Wipe up any spills and pop the lids on.
Â
Inventor Tip: To gently exfoliate your lips before using your lip balm you can create a lip scrub by mixing your favourite oil with brown sugar.
Â
Ta-dah! You’ve just made a lip balm give yourself a pat on the back.
Â
Clean Up Time
Inventor Tip: Beeswax is a solid when set, so don’t wash it down the sink. Wipe it off with a cloth before washing. If it has already set on the pan, warm it and it will wipe away.
