About The Dog And I
With a love of animals comes a love for the environment and its preservation. The Dog and I always want to ensure they are taking care of the planet and all it’s furry inhabitants. With this in mind minimising unnecessary packaging it top priority for this company, all of their products are in containers that can be recycled or in the case of their soaps are bio-degradable.
The Dog and I source as much of their ingredients as they can locally this includes ingredients such as poppy seeds, oatmeal, calendula, yarrow, rosemary etc from another small business in nearby ‘Helens Wholefoods’.
The coconut oil used in their products is ethically sourced from companies that do not use monkeys to harvest the coconuts. All of The Dog and I labels and designs are from another local company. This is why I love working with such companies that work along side other local and small business, it helps support crafts and skills!
None of The Dog and I products are tested on animals other than once they are 100% happy with them! They then first test them on themselves, and then on their own own dogs. All of this is after copious amounts of research.
These are beautifully made dog skincare products that will keep your furry friend lovely and clean, they even offer healing balms to help protect and sooth your dog’s paws, nose and skin!
Why Choose Natural
Let’s face it, dogs don’t know what what we are putting on their skin which is why it is important we choose carefully what products we are using. It is down to us after all to take care of them and give them the best life possible.
Many commercial creams actually contain harsh synthetic chemicals that can cause more harm than good. Don’t forget that when your not looking our dogs tend to lick their skin, especially when sore, meaning these chemical creams will most likely end up in your dogs mouth!
Not only are all these synthetic chemicals unhealthy for
Not only are these natural balms kinder on your dogs skin, but they are also much more eco-friendly and will naturally biodegrade without releasing these chemicals into the environment.
