Temper is handmade in the UK by Primal suds, blended with vanilla chai tea, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove essential oils, this solid soap bar has a spicy and warming scent. Contrasting to its name this soap leaves you feeling relaxed and cosy.

Primal Suds natural soap is ideal for daily use all over the body, leaving the skin soft and smooth, there's no need to rub too hard due to it's natural emollients, just let the suds do all the work.

Because of the natural ingredients this soap contains they will run very dark coloured but they wipe away easily and won't stain your sink, so don't worry.

How It's Made

Primal Suds make their soap with the historic hot process method using activated charcoal for it’s health benefits. This method was chosen as a way to commemorate a time when the first soaps known to man were created by our ancestors, back then soap makers also just used pure natural ingredients.

Lye is used to make all soaps, you can’t make soap without it and natural soap has always been made this way. So of course Primal Suds use Lye otherwise there would be no soap suds. Lye is Sodium Hydroxide, mixed with water to make an extremely alkaline solution, when added to the fats it undergoes the transformation into soap. Once the process is finished no lye remains in the finished product, it’s changed into soap.
