1 x Double Edge Safety Razor
1 x Blade
Billions of plastic razors and their plastic packaging find their way to landfills every year and take hundreds of years to decompose.
By switching to a bamboo safety razor, you are contributing to the zero-waste movement, making a cleaner environment for all.
Your zero waste razor will last for many years. It’s easy to recycle and replace the blades once they are out of use. You can also recycle the metal parts and compost the bamboo handle at the end of its lifespan.
Recyclable card box.
The razor itself is made from recyclable metal and a biodegradable bamboo handle.
How To Use
Safety razors can take some getting used to and there is a technique to it, this can take time but you’ll get it soon enough. All you need to do while you are getting used to is take your time and shave carefully, try not to shave in a hurry.
Pull the skin taut in the opposite direction of the blade, and hold the razor at about thirty degree angle.
There's no need to apply a lot of pressure, use short, even strokes, rinsing the razor every so often.
To replace the blade, hold the head still while you turn the handle counter clockwise.
Unscrew the handle all the way and pull apart the two parts of the head.
Carefully replace the blade, place the two parts of the head back together and then screw the handle back in clockwise until tight.
Make sure to put the two parts of the head together correctly before using.
Recycling Razor Blades
When it comes time to replace the blade in your safety razor, simply remove it from the razor head and pop it into a blade bank.
Once you have filled your blade bank, it can either be dropped off at your local recycling center or put into a metal recycling bin.
