The Lip Inks are liquid matt lipsticks designed to create a long-lasting, opaque and intense finish. Ideal for big occasions or long days where you need a durable, high performance product, Zao Lip Inks deploy organic castor oil, renowned for its moisturising properties, as well as carnauba wax to protect skin and make the product durable, as also tocopherol, a natural antioxidant also known as vitamin E.
As with all Zao products, this is free from talc and parabens (synthetic preservatives), instead Zao use micronised silver as an effective and non-toxic preservative. Zao does not use nanoparticles in their products, with the micronised silver being larger than nanoparticle size, making Zao products safe and free from man made toxic chemical preservatives.
Key Ingredients:
Organic castor oil: Its ricinoleic acid, makes this oil a beauty treatment with astonishing virtues already known in ancient times. It relieves skin ailments through its purifying, softening and healing action.
Organic Carnauba wax: This wax is a film-forming agent that protects the skin by producing a continuous film and improves make-up hold.

Packaging
The bamboo Lipstick case is refillable.
The refills do come in plastic that is easily and fully recyclable but Zao are working towards replacing this plastic packaging with card/paper in the future.
How To Use
For perfect results, we recommend maintaining lips with the Lip scrub 482, Lip care oil 484 and the Lip Balm 481. For better hold, use a Zao pencil on the lip contour before application.
This gorgeous lipstick meets the needs of those who want both a colourful smile and lip care. Apply on top of a balm or directly on your lips.
To draw your mouth perfectly, start in the centre and move towards the outside, but spare the outer corner. Use a lip brush for more precision, draw the outline first and end with the heart of the lips.
To add a shine apply a touch of gloss on the centre of the lips.
Regular reapplication helps lips to regenerate and restore their fullness.

If you want to achieve a sophisticated and long-wearing makeup for your lips all day and night, follow these three steps:
- Use a brush and first apply the lipstick to the outline of your lips by making a thin line that accentuates the fullness of your lips and illuminates it.
- Then apply the balm.
- Finally, finish with your lipstick using a brush for perfection.
