How To Make Nut Milk
You will need:
1 cup raw, unsalted nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, pecans, macadamia, Brazil nuts, walnuts)
2-3 cups water to soak the nuts
4 cups water to blend with the nuts
Soak the nuts overnight in 2-3 cups of water
Once soaked, drain the water (do not use water)
Add nuts and 4 cups of water. Blend thoroughly until almost smooth.
Use your cotton nut milk bag to strain the nut mixture. Twist the top tightly and squeeze as much milk out of the pulp that you can. The very fine net will give you a smooth bitless milk.
Pour the milk into a glass jar, then refrigerate.
The milk will keep in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
Wash at 30 and make sure to air dry.
Due to being made from completely natural material the net may shrink 10-12% of original size.
Can be placed in the fridge and is completely food safe.
