ReSpiin Seagrass & Jute Tablemats – Set of 6 – Brights

Made from natural seagrass and jute, they are a sustainable choice for any home.

Tied simply with jute twine, the set contains:

2 x Natural tablemat with yellow edge
2 x Natural tablemat with orange edge
2 x Natural tablemat with green edge

A matching coaster set is also available for a fully coordinated table setting.

The tablemats are made from seagrass and jute, two natural plant fibres that are renewable and biodegradable. Seagrasses grow very quickly in shallow saltwater along coastlines and rivers. Jute plants also grow quickly, with little need for fertilisers or pesticides, and have a high yield per acre. Both are considered sustainable and renewable materials.

The mats are coloured using non-toxic, azo-free dyes and have been tested as safe for food contact. Each one has a small ReSpiin fabric label stitched onto the edge.

The sewing thread used is made of 70% poly and 30% cotton. It cannot be 100% cotton thread as this will not tolerate the sewing machine tension needed to be able to stitch the seagrass and jute into place.

Due to the handmade nature of this product, sizes may vary slightly.

Packaging: No packaging – tied with jute twine.

Wipe clean and avoid damp environments.
