Chive Seedball Tube - 20 Seed balls
A tube containing 20 seed balls, each with 30 chive seeds per ball (600 seeds per tube). These make for lovely garden or kitchen gifts or eco friendly stocking fillers. They will work well in window boxes, balcony pots, garden beds and wildlife gardens, and if left to flower is great for bees.
One tube of seed balls will cover 1 square metre in a garden bed or 3-5 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). Best scattered from early Spring to late Autumn.
The chive plant (Allium Schoenoprasum) - is a hardy perennial herb from the onion family, prized for its slender, tubular leaves and delicate purple flowers. It thrives in well-drained soil and full sun, reaching heights of 10-20 inches. Chives possess a mild onion flavour, making them a popular culinary herb for garnishing soups, salads, and potato dishes. The plant's blossoms are also edible, adding a subtle onion-like taste and a splash of colour to dishes.

How To Use
Throw onto soil or compost in a garden bed or planter in Spring or Autumn, leaving at least 10cm between each ball.
Your seedball has everything it needs to grow and, once the ball becomes moist and the temperature is right, your seeds will germinate.
What area will my Seedballs cover?
We would usually advise 20 seed balls per square metre, or 3-5 seed balls for a 35cm container.
