Description
1 x Extra Large - Approx 50cm x 50cm
Carly and Fran’s The Beeswax Wrap Co created handmade all natural food wraps. Made with 100% GOTS certified organic coated in beeswax from their local beekeeper, pine resin and jojoba oil.
This beeswax wrap pack is ideal for wrapping cut fruit and veg, cheeses, sandwiches and moulding around bowls, keeping food nice and fresh.
This  environmentally friendly food wrap is completely biodegradable and reusable.
These beeswax wraps may smell strongly of beeswax at first but this will soon go during use.
Note:
You may notice your wrap beginning to crease, this is just the natural stage of ageing. If looked after properly, these eco-food wraps will last up to a year or even longer. If you use your wrap regularly we recommend you re-pasteurise every month.
Packaging
The packaging is full recyclable and compostable.
Once your beeswax wrap is finally wearing down put it into your compost, it’s 100% biodegradable.
You can also use it as a firelighter.
How To Use
Use the warmth of your hand to mould the beeswax wrap around a bowl, dish or a piece of food.
The beeswax wrap will stick to itself once warm and seal once it has cooled.
It’s a great way to keep cheese, bread, fruit and vegetables fresh as well as anything else you’d like to keep.
We don’t recommend you use them with pineapple, raw meat and fish.
Taking care of you Beeswax wrap:
- After use, wash your beeswax wrap with mild dish soap and cool water then hang to dry.
- Re-pasteurise (see more details) every few months
- Do not put in microwave, do not cover hot food and do not put near naked flame.
- Store somewhere cool and dry when not in use
Your beeswax wrap may need re-pasteurising every few months to re-set them. Set your oven to 100 degrees and place your beeswax wrap on baking paper on a baking tray and pop in the oven for 3 minutes, no more.
Beeswax wraps cannot go in the microwave and do not use to wrap hot food.
Beeswax is flammable so please keep away from naked flames.
