Keep your Ecoegg laundry egg refilled with these spring blossom detergent refills for up to 50 washes. With added enzymes they can not only tackle tough stains and provide a deeper clean but leave your clothes smelling delicately fresh. Gentle on fabrics and skin this detergent can get rid of dirt effectively but has also been dermatologically tested and is suitable for people with more sensitive skin. A great alternative to traditional detergents they are also environmentally friendly with Ecoegg aiming to reduce single use plastic and harmful waste.

Packaging

Card box with paper instructions inside, the cardboard used for all of their packaging is approved from sustainable sources and is recyclable. Ecoegg use environmentally friendly vegetable-based inks for their print, which contains no petrochemicals.

There is a plastic label on the box sealing the top, we are working on this with our supplier.

The refillable pellets do currently come packaged in recyclable plastic bags, Ecoegg are working on a biodegradable alternative. Put the bags in your mixed recycling.

Simply open your Laundry Egg and fill the larger half of the egg with the two types of mineral pellets. Close your egg so that it ‘clicks’ and place it inside your washing machine on top of your laundry. The mineral pellets work together in the water to effectively draw dirt from your clothing fibres, they also help to soften your clothes by changing the pH, leaving your laundry clean and fresh without using harsh chemical laden detergents. Ecoegg laundry egg is also suitable for hand washing. Simply place the egg to soak in the water for 5-10 minutes then hand wash as normal. The Laundry Egg can be used from 15 to 60 degrees Celsius.  You can find the complete instructions here.
