Made with upcycled saris and seagrass, a sustainable material due to the plants high yield and fast growth without the need for fertilisers or pesticides. Seagrass is extremely durable as well as moisture resistant, making it ideal for storage around the home.
Old saris are sold by households to pedlars, who sell the saris onto companies who usually recycle them. Instead, these saris are reused by weaving them together with sustainable seagrass to make a beautiful, one of a kind colourful natural bowl.
This bowl, as all ReSpiin baskets, have their own unique colours due to the natural seagrass material.
