This mineral cooked powder set comes in a bamboo refillable case and it’s very own cotton drawstring travel pouch. Perfect for keeping in your day bag or makeup bag!

Although Zao isn’t completely plastic free, their mineral cooked powders are refillable, making a much healthier, sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to purchasing an entirely new fully plastic product.

All of these cooked makeup powders are talc-free vegan, organic and cruelty free with limited, if any plastic packaging.

As with all Zao products, this is free from talc and parabens (synthetic preservatives), instead Zao use micronised silver as an effective and non-toxic preservative. Zao does not use nanoparticles in their products, with the micronised silver being larger than nanoparticle size, making Zao products safe and free from man made toxic chemical preservatives.

Packaging

The refills do come in plastic that is easily and fully recyclable but Zao are working towards replacing this plastic packaging with card/paper in the future.

The metal containers the powders are held in are 100% recyclable aluminium.

If you are looking for a lovely summer look, this cooked powder is perfect!

To structure and define the shape of your face, use a blush brush to apply the mineral cooked powder on the contours of your face: from the top of the forehead along the hairline, down and along the lower line of your cheekbones, and finishing along the underside of the jaws.

The idea is to draw a “3” on each side of your face.

Finish the look by applying the powder on the nose for a long nose, or on the sides of the nose for a wide nose.

With this radiant, structured powder look, you can enjoy a summery and bronzed look all year round.

How To Refill

To refill the compact powder, there is a tiny hole on the back which you can use to pop out the compact and replace with a new refill or an entire new colour. This could be done with an earring or sim card key.
