A guide to using cream and powder eco, organic highlighter
Getting to grips with using eco friendly, plastic free, natural, vegan, eco, cruelty-free cream and powder organic highlighters to give you a gorgeous glow.
Organic highlighter is a great way to draw attention to your favourite features and to give your skin a natural healthy sheen. When a vegan, natural, organic highlighter is applied correctly on your cheekbones, brow, and nose it can help to give your face a sculpted appearance. Most commonly found in cream and powder format, it is one of the finishing touches to your look and this is how to use them!
Natural, Vegan, Organic Highlighter Powder
First of all you need to create your base makeup look which should include natural primer, natural foundation, eco concealer, organic blusher and vegan eyeshadow. Once that is complete and you have added a light dusting of natural finishing powder, you can add your powder organic highlighter. Take a large, flat brush with soft bristles and lightly brush it across the compact. Gently blow on the bristles or tap the end of the eco makeup brush to remove any loose particles and apply it, via the eco makeup brush to your cheekbones. You want to aim for the areas that the light usually catches such as the temples, the tip of your nose, the centre of your forehead, and your cupid’s bow. Be sure not to over do it, at the risk of looking super-shiny, and be sure to gently blend the cruelty-free, vegan, organic highlighter into the skin surrounding the area you have chosen to highlight.
Cruelty-Free, Natural, Organic Highlighter Cream
If you are using liquid natural foundations and minimal setting or natural finishing powder then cruelty-free, natural, organic highlighter cream can be a great option for a glow. You can choose to apply it with either clean fingers or a soft eco makeup brush. If using a eco makeup brush, carefully load the eco makeup brush with some of the cream and softly dab it under your brow bone, the apples of your cheeks, cupid’s bow, and corner of the eye. If using your fingers, dab and blend the organic highlighter using small circular motions, being sure to distribute it evenly onto the skin. You can build up more layers or keep it simple, depending on the look you are going for.
