Eco-femme also support and provide education on hygienic, dignified and green menstruation practices to local woman in India.
Eco Femme's mission is to create environmental and social change through the revitalising menstrual practices that are healthy, environmentally sustainable, culturally responsive and empowering. Profits made from international sales are used to help fund inexpensive reusable pads for Indian women.
Eco-femme offer a Pad For Pad programme where they give education and free cloth pads to young girls and women to help them manage their periods hygienically and with dignity. They provide a safe environment where they can discuss menstruation and help make a change to India’s growing challenge in dealing with sanitary waste. This is where the majority of the profits go from Eco-femme pads.
