Three friends, Christoph, Wanja and Sebastian from Hamburg, often found themselves discussing environmental issues, being passionate about making a difference by helping the world rather than harming it they came up with Hydrophil.

An innovative business that provides eco-friendly hygiene products that are produced using minimal water consumption and sustainable materials.

Minimal water consumption means to use methods that don’t use water unnecessarily or excessively and to be conscious of how much water we are using. This is priority for Hydrophil which is why they only use sustainable materials that are grown without artificial irrigation such as bamboo. They also only use colours that do not contain chemical additives or mineral oils. Such chemicals pollute and leave residues in drinking water and groundwater when composted.

Hydrophil meticulously ensure their products won’t cause any unnecessary harm to the world, which is why they are cruelty free, vegan and fair trade. They believe that fair labour deserves fair wage and nothing and no one should suffer at the cost of making their products.

Their mission is to create eco-friendly hygiene products that can replace those that pollute and harm the earth which has been produced from unsustainable materials and excessive water consumption. Hydrophil has successfully created products that are far better for the environment which have been produced with sustainable water consumption and eco-friendly biodegradable materials.

This company also donates 10% of their products to a charity called Viva Con Agua who help improve drinking water supply to developing countries, where access to clean drinking water is very limited.

As you know we love products that are fair trade, sustainable, eco-friendly and with no plastic packaging. The Hydrophil range includes vegan bamboo toothbrushes, biodegradable cotton swabs and other hygiene accessories.
