At Peace With The Wild, we're proud to offer Tony's Chocolonely—a brand committed to making 100% slave-free chocolate the norm. By sourcing cocoa beans directly from Ghana and Ivory Coast—regions where 1.56 million children work under illegal conditions and 30,000 people are victims of modern slavery—Tony's Chocolonely aims to create positive change where it's needed most.

Five Principles for Slave-Free Cocoa:

  1. Traceable Cocoa Beans: Ensuring every cocoa bean is fully traceable for complete transparency.
  2. Paying a Higher Price: Providing farmers with better wages to improve their living conditions.
  3. Strong Farmers by Working Together: Empowering farmers through cooperative efforts.
  4. Improving Quality and Productivity: Investing in agricultural practices to enhance quality and yield.
  5. Long-Term Commitment: Establishing sustained partnerships for ongoing development.

What's also great about Tony's Chocolonely is that their Fairtrade chocolate bars are deliciously crafted with the highest quality cocoa beans, offering a rich, sweet, and smooth taste that everyone will love.

At Peace With The Wild, we stock a hand-picked selection of Tony's Chocolonely bars that have all been taste-tested and are 100% plastic-free. All Tony's Chocolate bars are palm oil-free, and we even offer vegan alternatives. Shop Tony's Chocolonely slave-free chocolate bars that are Fairtrade-certified and help make all chocolate 100% slave-free!

100% Slave-Free Chocolate That's Plastic-Free

Founded in 2005 by Teun van de Keuken, a Dutch journalist, Tony's Chocolonely began as a Fairtrade and 100% slave-free chocolate bar. Despite producing just 5,000 bars initially, they sold 13,000 after a successful launch. Paving the way for ethical chocolate production, Tony's Chocolonely became Fairtrade certified and established the Chocolonely Foundation in 2008. They pride themselves on producing chocolate that is both ethical and sustainable.
